Guild Structure

1.   Apprentice – The apprentice is the newest member of the guild and should reap the most reward with the least amount of contribution. Members under level 50 at the apprentice rank should expect to be included in Daily, Group Dungeon and World Boss events where they are given the chance to level and collect gear for furthering their adventures. As a crafting guild, Abecean Artisans is dedicated to helping our members with research and craft leveling and the apprentice is where it starts.

2.   Adept – Players with a known history (Friends of Friends, etc.) may join the guild as an Adept in addition to those members of the Apprentice rank that have been active for at least two weeks. The Adept is invited to utilize the guild trader and may deposit into the guild bank while still enjoying the benefits of the Apprentice rank.

3.   Artificer – Artificers have mastered at least one craft and are ready to become real contributors in the guild trade or guild event categories. They may sell their gathered resources or constructed wares regularly or may be staples on the event circuit acting as regular DPS, Tanks or Healers. Artificers are granted bank item withdrawal access and are expected to assist other players in making small item withdrawals when they can. An Artificer should have been in the guild for a minimum of one month and be an active (2-4 times per week minimum) player.

4.   Torchbearer/Junior Officer – The rank of Torchbearer is granted to those Artificers that have completed a minimum of one month in that rank and who have a desire to lead regular events, promote the spirit of the guild and regularly assist others above and beyond, and/or assist with minor Officer level tasks. Torchbearers are granted bank item withdrawal access and should assist other players in making small item withdraws when they can. Artificers are selected for advancement to Torchbearer by a minimum of two officers with the approval of the Guild Leader.

5.   Officer – A limited number of Torchbearers may be selected to fill needed positions within the guild hierarchy.  These individuals must embody the core values of Abecean Artisans and be willing to shoulder the responsibilities outlined in their personal job descriptions or those outlined in the Artisans Officer Selection, Duties and Responsibilities document or as otherwise determined by the Guild Leader. All Officers will be allotted a single vote during guild policy discussions, however due to the nature of ESO it is necessary to create three distinct officer groupings for permissions. Board Officers will have full financial access to the guild funds, Executive Officers will have access to everything but finances, and Standard Officers will not have access to finance or membership roles. Torchbearers may be selected for advancement by any current officer but must be approved by the Guild Leader and a majority of the sitting officers. All officers serve at the pleasure of the Guild Leader who may dismiss an underperforming officer with the agreement of a minimum of half the remaining officers.

6.   Advisor – Officers who chose to step down of their own accord due to any circumstance will be granted the title of Advisor and will no longer have an official vote in guild matters. They will be asked for advice by sitting guild leadership as needed and are compelled to offer their opinions to guild leadership should an unseen or unaddressed concern arise. Advisors may be reinstated to an officer role following the same process it took to become an officer initially should they be able to again fulfill the responsibilities and a position be available.
